Our quaint Nordic Chapel is the home to the breathtaking 14 foot historic Norwegian Lutheran altar set that reaches all the way to the ceiling! There is a beautiful 100 year old original oil painting by the late artist Arne Berger from Valdres Norway.

Our quaint Nordic Chapel is the home to the breathtaking 14 foot historic Norwegian Lutheran altar set that reaches all the way to the ceiling! There is a beautiful 100 year old original oil painting by the late artist Arne Berger from Valdres Norway.
The stunning antique, gothic-style stained glass windows are original from the same congregation as the altar set and cast a beautiful glow, just as they did 130 years ago.

Our flower fields are full of beautiful, award-winning botanical flowers from water garden plants, wildflowers, annual cut-gardens, our famous Dahlias to the perennial gardens!
We are members of the MN Dahlia Society, American Dahlia Soc, MN Water Garden Soc, Mn Horticultural Soc, Specialty Cut Flowers Soc...just to name a few! We also com

We are members of the MN Dahlia Society, American Dahlia Soc, MN Water Garden Soc, Mn Horticultural Soc, Specialty Cut Flowers Soc...just to name a few! We also compete with our flowers and are proud of the blooms we grow!
During the Summer & Fall, our cut flowers are sold by the Bouquet, Wedding Flowers, Bouquet Shares & occasionally a U-Cut event.

Angels of the Prairie is also home to our beautiful Friesians, Gypsians and our Gray Norwegian Fjord!
We are home to the famous "Bella Burro" Donkey, Nigerian Dwarf Goats and our gorgeous Peacocks too!
We have groomed horse and human trails throughout the property and who can leave out the huge Japanese Koi Ponds!

Plan Your Visit
Angels of the Prairie is a seasonal sanctuary open "occasionally", May-October.
For private tours during the open months, please send us an email.
Unfortunately, we do not host tours in the Winter.
We are located on privately owned property, and do not accept walk-ins. Thank you for respecting our privacy.
During your visit, cell phone cameras are welcome.
For professionally posed photography, please email us in advance, as there is a small photography permit fee, which includes the props.
Although we love animals, "No Dogs Allowed", unless they are part of a wedding ceremony or a registered service dog.
